Schedule
Thursday at 1800
Gringos Locos, opening party, free tex-mex food for 1 hour.
We're opening the event with a presentation of the teams that will be in Helsinki already. There might be some smart games to get to know each other and to see who can drink...
Then around 2100, we start sending people to Kaarle. THE finnish disco. The best bar in Helsinki for the past 20 years.
It is highly recommended to try the lower and the higher level. Down stairs is Suomi Pop, the Finnish pop. And upstairs is more disco, electro, techno, whatever, who cares anyway... when entering the big room on the top floor, you have to pay a visit to the Rod Stewart look a like barman, ask him for a round of SALMIAKKI, the favorite drink of Finns. then you can also try FISU, or JALLU (say YALLU)
For those who prefer watching bloody football... you are welcome at the Aussie bar, the crazy Australian bar in Helsinki!
Kaarle et Aussie Bar close at 0300. Gringos Locos closes at midnight.
Friday at 1515
The tournament start with a captains briefing (at 15:15). Le first kick-off will be given at 1630 (to be confirmed)
There are 3 fields. You will be given maps during the opening night, and it will also be posted on the website.
The pools will play until 2230-2300, that mean until we are running out of daylight!
There will be food made by our local celebrity chef called Sami Garam who'll come in to appease the big fellas. Menu coming soon.
Starting from 2100, we will start sending teams by bus to the 2nd party place: Tiger.
Tiger is a great place on top of a building in the town center of Helsinki. When the weather is good, the terrace is gorgeous. Nice view over the city and barbecue.
Entrance to Tiger is 5 or 6 euros maximum. We will give you wristbands to get discounts.

Saturday at 1000
The tournament starts with knock-out phases. Make sure your team is on time otherwise you might get eliminated for not showing up.
For those who will lose their first game, there will be a sauna on the side of the pitch, if you think Scandinavian culture sucks, think again, we drink vodka in the sauna.
There will be two professional massagists for small injuries.
If you don't like Vodka, don't miss the belly sliding contest!
Quarter final - Semi-Final - Final (Cup and Baltic Plate)
The loosing team will get the wooden spoon (bought this weekend in Estonia... it's a terrific one, but don't fight too much to get it, it's for the loosers!)
Around 1700, the finale of the Baltic Plate should be played and crown the best team of the tournament!
At 1800-1830, we take every one to the town center. We give you a bit of time to make yourself pretty and rendez-vous at Kaivohuone, the most select disco in Helsinki... yes, 200 rugby players in the mos t select disco in Helsinki... we have a good network ;)
Kaivohuone is the disco where you can meet some NHL stars and their supporters...
Prize ceremony should be around 20:00.
